Signposts of your next breakthrough.

One winter I saw a wasp flying around inside the window of my apartment. I disposed if it but a few days later another wasp appeared. After disposing of the second one I asked God "What are you saying?"
I looked in the Bible & saw where God used wasp/hornets to route out enemies hiding in caves.

Exodus 23:28-30 (TNIV)
"I will send the hornet ahead of you to drive the Hivites, Canaanites and Hittites out of your way. [29] But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals too numerous for you. [30] Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land."

I thought He was talking about driving out my external enemies...

But now I understand that when negative things surface in my heart - wrong attitudes - emotional bondages - I see these not as points of guilt ridden failure, but as enemies of my soul's prosperity being driven out in the open, as signposts of where my next Miracle - Healing - Deliverance will be!!

He loves me too much to let these stay hidden in my life.

Healing is progressive.

Breakthroughs continuous....

 In 2020, as a “grounded missionary, I was thinking in terms of “transition”. Everyone was pivoting to online, in person meetings were cancelled, life looked like adapt - adapt - adapt.  By January of 2021 I realized the “normal” I was waiting for probably wasn’t going to happen. Walking on Water

I have a Matryoshka Doll (or nesting doll). I got it in Belarus. It is a doll in a doll in a doll etc. Each internal doll is an exact duplicate of the outside one. As I was looking at it a few weeks back I was thinking about my walk with the Lord. The Bible talks about our created purpose to be filled with the Spirit of God, to show His life to others – to reflect more of Christ and less of us. That’s an interesting concept “to be filled with His Spirit”. Joshua was described as ‘filled with the Spirit” because Moses had laid his hands on him (Deut. 34:9). Joshua was amazing in all that he accomplished with God. John the Baptist on the other hand was filled with the Spirit from his mother’s womb (Luke 1:15). He was used by the Spirit of God to prepare hearts for the Messiah. Peter being filled with the Spirit (Act 4:8-13) astonished the people who heard him speak because of the power and anointing of God. Summer Ministries

It has been and is continuing to be a great summer. We really enjoyed Rachael, our intern featured in Pirates of the Palouse, and the kids at the various camps and churches. One young man, Christopher, stands out in my mind. He had never been to church and was brought by a neighbor to camp where he gave his life to Jesus. Then began to read the bible for the first time. This particular camp had a Bible Quiz each night with teams competing. Christopher quized second highest! Unbelievable! Of course some of his answers needed a bit of translating. Like when the official asked who appeared to the shepherds and announced the birth of Jesus. Christopher replied, "A band of heavenly ghosts!" The judge accepted it.
