How does it change how we see this planet? Suppose one day I was picked up from an airport by a limo and driven home. When I got out of the car I saw I was in front of a derelict house. I walked in and there was just total destruction and filth inside.   I could respond two ways: Hopelessness - this is where I live. I have to do life in this! Or This is not my home! I don't live here. I'm not staying here. Take me to my real home!! The first response is doing the Christian Life by living within my own efforts and capabilities.  The second is realizing my inadequacy is irrelevant to Gods sufficiency. In fact It's more accurate to say God's extravagant availability.  Suppose you had $20. And you had a friend with $20 million dollars. And your friend said "Lets go in partnership together 50-50. You put in your $20 & I'll put in my $20 million.  We'll start a company and be equal owners. 100% / 100%."  That's what Go...

Take two pieces of paper On one make a list of everything that's holding you down or keeping you from your destiny It could be areas of personal defeat, defect in character, circumstances, anything oppositional to you. Make a list of things & number them. If you have 35 things on that list number them 1-35. Those are all the hindrances that are against you.  God wants to take every one of those hindrances & teach you the advantage each one brings.  On second piece of paper you number it (1-35 or whatever you have on your first list).  You start with number 1 on your first list & you ask what is the opposite of that? Then write it down on your second paper. Go to number 2 -what's the opposite of that & write it across number 2. All the way down your list until you have a list of complete opposites. More Than You Can Imagine Or Think It is New Year’s Day and I find myself starting a new year with great thankfulness for what God has done and at the same time I am filled with an even greater anticipation for what God is going to do. I am so excited! We have been reviewing all the amazing things that have recently happened and are continually amazed at the increase of our experience with the reality of heaven and God’s presence breaking through into our city, companies, and families in greater measure than has been experienced before. The level of transformation and freedom is increasing. As great as this is, we cannot use what we have experienced so far as a predictor of what He is going to do moving forward. God is not looking for us to build a model or a ministry, but be in relationship with Him to demonstrate His love and His world. About three or four years ago while we were ministering at an Aboriginal family camp in Wyndham Western Australia my faithful iPod classic died. A 40G mp3 player, it was so useful for all of our kids ministry. When I returned from that tour I tried everything to fix it the Apple support suggested but nothing worked.  Apple then said it would cost $250 to replace the dead drive. At that point I tossed it in a corner & forgot about it. Two nights ago I ran across that old iPod again. I thought "What if I google hope for dead iPods?".  Up came a blog called "Whack a mole"  It basically said you've got nothing to loose, try striking it a couple times. I did it & suddenly my dead iPod roared back to life! WhooHoo! Amazing! I just started laughing! What does the Bible say? "He takes the foolish things to confound the wise!" Now it's loaded up with new music & ready to go for the next camp! 

The following was sent to me this morning from a mother who was at a Sunday service where I shared the message on God's Anointing on Rest. " Dear Sue I just want to thank you for the wonderful message on Sunday. After church my family and I usually go mad trying to get things done, house clean, catch up on work, its just go, go, go because we are so busy during the week. But on Sunday we stopped, put on a spiritual CD and soaked up the presence of God. I placed paper in the middle of the floor with pens and my 9 year old son (Jai) drew fabulous pictures during this quiet time with God. He usually draws dinosaurs - that's all I have seen him draw, but not this time. He drew Jesus, watering 4 flowers (my family) and he said that God is growing us. One winter I saw a wasp flying around inside the window of my apartment. I disposed if it but a few days later another wasp appeared. After disposing of the second one I asked God "What are you saying?" I looked in the Bible & saw where God used wasp/hornets to route out enemies hiding in caves. Exodus 23:28-30 (TNIV) "I will send the hornet ahead of you to drive the Hivites, Canaanites and Hittites out of your way. [29] But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals too numerous for you.
